Wondering what’s on in and around North Oxfordshire? Then wonder no more – there are many events happening throughout the year in the area and you can find out just what they are right here.

All kinds of shows, festivals and exhibitions for all to enjoy including Artweeks taking place from Saturday 2nd to Monday 25th May.  What better way to visit local artists in their home environment of Oxfordshire.  Local produce is made and sold at farmers markets which also sell yummy cakes and gifts galore. As well as all this, Banbury and Bicester are home to many musical festivals, sports rallies and arts based events in North Oxfordshire plus bowling and cinema listings to ensure you are occupied all year round.

2008, however, is a particularly special year for Banbury, as it celebrates the 400th anniversary of granting of Charter and so there will be several events planned throughout the year to celebrate.
