Tooley's, the oldest working dry dock in Britain, has been in continuous use since 1790 when it was established to build and repair the wooden horse-drawn narrowboats which piled the newly constructed canal network, so vital to the development of the Industrial Revolution. A Guided Tour of Tooley's offers visitors a fascinating insight into the workings of a traditional boatyard. Pre booking Required. Gift Shop with canal related merchandise. Public Tours: Saturday 3pm (Other times by arrangement), lasting 1 hour.
Adults £5.50, Children £3.25 (Up to 12years), Children under 5 years - FREE 10% discount for local residents. Group Bookings £50 for a group of 10, £5 per person thereafter. Cream Tea refreshments available for group bookings.
