St Edburg's Church (Bicester)

St Edburg's Church (Bicester)

The first recorded vicar of St Edburg's was installed over 900 years ago. The Church stands on part of the site of a Medieval Abbey, the only remnants of which are part of the churchyard wall and the Dovecot. St Edburg's has been added to over the centuries to create a fine building with many points of interest including some Burne-Jones windows and a tiny Medieval stained glass in the Chancel. There is a beautiful Reredos featuring statues of St Edburg, St Frideswide, St Hugh of Lincoln and St Birinus.

Open: 9.30am - 4.00pm (approx) every day plus services.
