Blenheim Palace, home of the 11th Duke of Marlborough and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, is one of the Treasure Houses of England, with fine collections set in magnificent gilded state rooms overlooking sweeping lawns and formal gardens. A miniature train runs regularly to the Pleasure Gardens and Butterfly House in the Park.

From M40/J9 follow the brown Blenheim signs via the A34 and A44 to Woodstock.
From M40 J 11 follow A 4260 signs for Adderbury and continue on this road through Deddington until you come to the right hand turn for Woodstock. Take this and then take the Bladon exit from the next roundabout. This road will take you into Woodstock, where you follow the tourist signs for the palace.
Blenheim Palace is accessible from Oxford train station via No.20 bus which stops at the main gates.
