Whichford Pottery specialise in making traditional English Flowerpots, all entirely by hand, and in every shape and size. All Whichford pots gain a beautiful, soft patina with age, are guaranteed for 10 years in any weather, every severe frost.
We desgin all our flowerpots, from Lily Pots to old-fashioned horticultural ware, such as seedpans, alpine pots and forcers for seakale and rhubarb.
Ther is never a dull moment at the pottery. Visitors can watch the pots being made (during weekdays), relax in our colourful courtyard garden and browse in our Gallery full of glazed tableware, jewellery and photography. We also have some special events throughout the year, plus regular adult pottery workshops.
Studio open Monday to Friday 9a.m. to 5p.m

From Juntion 11 off M40 in Banbury, follow signs for A361 to Chipping Norton. Go through Bloxham and follow signs for Milcombe. Go through Milcombe and at pub go straight on. Do not follow road to left. Carry on for several miles, past Gate Hangs High pub and Firs Garage, at juction at top of hill follow signs for Whichford. You will immediatley to down hill for about 1 mile into the village of Whichford, stay on same road and the Pottery is past the village green
