St Giles was originally built in 1180 as a cruciform Norman church and was rebuilt in 1639 keeping the Norman font, 3 bells and the altar rails. In 1761 the Church was rebuilt by the people of Wendlebury, unfortunately so badly that in 1898 it was once again rebuilt but without the tower.
