St Giles (Noke)

The present church dates from the 13th century but has earlier origins. Interesting features included 13th Century chancel arch, south door, south wall and lancet window. The nave roof, with its curved wind-braces is Elizabethan and the Chancel contains a brass depicting Joan, and a stone effigy of her grandson.

Road Directions

From M40/J9 (Bicester) follow the A34 to Oxford leaving at the turning for Islip. Continue through the village of Islip and after approx 1 mile turn left and continue into the village of Noke.
