St Bartholomew Church (Yarnton)

The Norman and 13th Church was built on the site of a Saxon church first recorded in 1009. In the 17th Century part of the Spencer family from Althorp extended the Church - Spenser aisle, tower and porch for their own purposes. Early 19th Century additions include furnishings and a second font.

Road Directions

Leave M40 J9 travel along A34 southwards towards Oxford.
Leave A34 at Oxford junction following brown signs for Blenheim Palace on A44.
Turn left westwards into the Cassington Road, at the Turnpike Inn as the single carrageway turns into a dual carriageway. Church Lane is the only major left southwards just past the Farm Shop also on the left. The Church is at the entrance to the Manors main access.
