Oxford CanalNorth Oxfordshire is rich in natural treasures, set in a prime location for countryside walks and cycling. There are lots of opportunities to get up close to the animals in the area too, with llama treks along country lanes as well as donkey treks available through Llama trekking. The Waterfowl Sanctuary and Children’s Farm is a great day out too, with lots of friendly animals the kids will love!

If it’s the great outdoors you’re after, then Burton Dassett Hill Country Park is for you – 100 acres of rolling hills and fantastic views with Beacon Tower, the focal point of the hills and The Church of All Saints providing points of interest in the Park.

There are lots of gardens in the region to seduce the green fingered or for those just looking for some escapism and something different during their stay. However, the surrounding countryside of North Oxfordshire is itself a treat for the senses with Cropredy Walkspectacular views, fresh air and acres of land waiting to be explored.
