Farnborough Hall

National Trust Property.
Home of the Holbech family since 1684, reconstructed in the early 18th Century. William Holbech enjoyed a protracted grand tour 1730 - 1745 when he collected paintings and ancient sculpture. The Rococo plasterwork is some of the finest in the Country. Superb landscape garden of the 1740's remains largely unchanged. It includes a broad terraced walk ornamented with temples.

House, Grounds & Terrace Walk: 2 April to 28 September, Wednesday and Saturday 2pm - 5.30pm. 1 - 2 May 2pm - 5.30pm.
