Historic House built in 1300 and enlarged in 1550s. It is surrounded by a large moat and set in parkland. The home of Lord & Lady Saye and Sele and owned by the same family for over 600years. Medieval Great Hall, vaulted passages, fine fireplaces, panelling and plaster ceilings. Strong English Civil War links. Walled garden with herbacious borders and old roses.

1st May - 15th September Wednesdays & Sundays 2pm - 5pm - also Thursdays in July & August and all Bank Holiday Sundays & Mondays 2 - 5pm including Easter. Groups welcome throughout the year by appointment - please phone for prices.
From M40, J11 follow the signs to Banbury passing straight on over two roundabouts. At the third roundabout turn left onto A423 and continue through the crossroads until you reach the Banbury Cross. Turn right onto B4035 Shipston On Stour and continue out of Banbury for 2.5miles until you reach Broughton village. Once in the village turn right just before the Saye and Sele Arms public house following the brown signs and Broughton Castle is approx.150yards on the left hand side.
