Stone Court is a privately owned/run chalet style bungalow providing ground and first floor accommodation and excellent hospitality, with breakfast cooked to order. Sulgrave Village is just 10mins from M40/J11 and 25mins from M1/15A and provides easy access to many major cities and towns – Banbury, gateway to the Cotswolds, Birmingham (NEC), Northampton, Oxford, Stratford upon Avon, Towcester, Warwick and London is easily reached by train from Banbury (7 miles) within 65 minutes. There are several National Trust properties, Gardens, Centres for children activities and Historic houses close by, including our own Sulgrave Manor, the birthplace of George Washington’s ancestors. Stone Court is ideally situated for events at Silverstone, Hellidon Lakes, Althorp, Stoke Bruerne Canal, Crockwell Farm, Sulgrave Manor, Whittlebury Hall etc. The village has a community shop/post office (2mins walk), which can be available for cash withdrawals (otherwise nearest cash machine is 7 miles) a church (4mins walk) and the Star Inn (5mins walk), a country style Public House with fine ale and an excellent restaurant. From M40/11 follow A422 towards Daventry and at traffic lights A422 towards Brackley. At first roundabout bear left (B4525) and follow historic house (brown) sign, Sulgrave Manor, pass Thorpe Mandeville, then bear right to Sulgrave
From M1/15A follow A43 to Oxford pass junctions for Towcester and Silverstone then take exit B4525, to Sulgrave Manor (brown historic house sign) and Helmdon. Once through Helmdon, follow signs for Sulgrave.

The nearest mainline station (Banbury - 0845 6005765) is 7 miles (10 minutes drive) has reasonable parking and trains to London take from 65 minutes. There is a limited bus service (508), operated daily, excluding Sunday and Bank Holidays, by SMS travel (01327 355118) between Banbury and Brackley. This is generally a low floor, easy access bus and time from Sulgrave (Magpie Road) to Banbury or Brackley is approx 25 minutes. Time tables are available on the Sulgrave website.
