An historic Grade II* listed part Elizabethan former coaching inn, beautifully restored with a high degree of luxury, elegant interior designed bedrooms and reception rooms. Situated within the village environs of Grendon Underwood which traces its history back to Medieval England, Shakespeare House is one of the most historic homes in Buckinghamshire.
Nick Hunter and Roy Elsbury, your hosts, will be delighted to welcome you into their historic home, and if you are interested, offer you a unique insight into the past of this fascinating former coaching inn, and its most illustrious guest, William Shakespeare, after whom the house is proudly named.
