18th Century 'Rose Cottage' is located on a country lane in a beautiful Cotswold village with a great pub within walking distance. It is full of features that provide a charming atmosphere including wood burner and delightful cottage garden with seating area and bbq, and can accommodate 4-6 guests.
This is an ideal location within 40 mins of Oxford and Shakespeare's Stratford, Woodstock (the home to Blenheim Palace and the Cotswold villages of Bourton-on-the-Water; Burford and the historic town of Stow-on-the-Wold. There are many activities within 10 mins; walks, cycle rides, fishing, golf, riding, pottery lessons and much more.
The cottage is stocked with homemade cake, tea, coffee, milk, olive oil, cling film, foil etc and a basket of logs/kindling. Upstairs there is a super king and king size, which can be unzipped for singles, with a sofa bed downstairs.
In the village the main pub does fantastic food, there are three other pubs, the Victorian brewery and visitor centre, a large village shop and post office. The village is surrounded by Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

From M40 jct 11 follow signs to Chipping Norton. Go through the village of Bloxham and then take the signposted right hand turn signposted to Hook Norton. On entering the village continue on the main road. Take the left hand turn 50m after the village shop. Take the right fork and Rose Cottage can be found on the right
The 488 travels between Banbury and Chipping Norton calling at Hook Norton aprox every hour. There is an excellent train service from Banbury to London Marylebone and Birmingham.
